bits missing are Pete & Chris, 2 guys that just want to play music to make you dance. We've become a regular thing on the Bournemouth scene, holding residencies at The Consortium and ibar, starting up Basslime and regularly getting on it at We Are Your Friends. If you'd like us to come and play at your party, chances are we're dead keen as long as we can have a couple of big bottles of strongbow. get in touch by emailing chris at chrisdowling.biz

Hat Shaking Bass

We rocked up to see Skream at Consortium on Saturday and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve tried to get into dubstep before and not done too well, and I think I know why now.

Skream was awesome, the atmosphere was great and everyone seemed really into it. I guess it must have been different from playing the London shows cos dubstep’s not that big a scene down here but it went down great. I sweated my face off.

I dont think you can really get that into dubstep until you experience it in a club with a full on soundsystem and a great atmosphere.

Here’s Skream’s (and dubstep’s) biggest anthem to date, Midnight Request Line

Skream – Midnight Request Line

And possibly the next big dubstep tune, went down a treat on Saturday and the single seems to have sold out everywhere on vinyl

Benga & Coki – Night (sample)
